The uniformed staff of the Kansas Juvenile Correctional Complex are charged with providing a safe and secure environment for both residents and staff as well as facilitating the day-to-day services offered by the complex. The individuals composing the Operations department have the highest level of direct contact with the residents on a daily basis and strive to provide structure, peace of mind, and assurance of protection and safety for those residents. Interdepartmental cooperation within the complex allows Operations staff to fulfill their commitment to the citizens of Kansas to provide not only a correctional but rehabilitative environment for adjudicated youth.
